CANCELLED: Violence in the Indianapolis Community

Unfortunately, due the outbreak of COVID-19 and concerns regarding exposure risks, we will be canceling this event. For anyone who has already registered and paid, please expect to hear from us soon regarding your payment. Otherwise, we intend to continue to plan for our April programming with the topic of Pet Therapy and will discuss rescheduling this month's topic to a later date.

If you have paid for this event, you are welcome to a full refund. You may also apply that to your donation in April. Email robin@centerforinterfaithcooperation.org with what you would like. Programming updates will be announced as we know them.
Indianapolis has increasingly become one of the most violent cities in the nation. What impact has this had on our people? What should healthcare providers know about this? How are they moving forward through difficult times? What are we doing to stop this violence? How can faith communities support this effort? Shonna Majors, Director of Community Violence Reduction for Indianapolis, will present about efforts our government is taking. Stop The Violence Indy will share the works they are doing as a non-profit advocacy organization. Donita Royal, Director of Mothers Against Violence, will share how her ministry calls her to support those who have lost children to gun violence. Come be a part of this discussion and reflection.

ICMH Luncheons provide a brave space for conversation and presentations about faith and mental health. Clergy, health care providers, and concerned community members are welcome! Vegetarian lunch is provided at all events, and there is a suggested donation of $5 per event. Please RSVP so we have enough food. All events held in the Krannert Room on the second floor of the Indiana Interchurch Center (1100 W. 42nd Street, 46208), the third Wednesday of each month.
